From the direction of Rostock... 1st variant (shortest route)

• along the B105 to Stralsund, towards the island of Rügen
• over the Rügen Bridge onto the B96N to Samtens
• in Samtens take the exit "Insel Hiddensee" towards Gingst, then to Trent
• in Trent turn right to the Wittow car ferry, cross over and continue towards Wiek
• exit Wiek, turn left after apporx. 2 km and follow the signs to Dranske

(Rostock-Stralsund approx. 75 km; Stralsund-Dranske (Rügen) approx. 56 km).

Alternative route: Warnow car ferry

From the direction of Rostock... 2nd alternative (motorway)

• along the A20 motorway in the direction of Stettin to the "Stralsund/Rügen" exit
• continue on the "Rügenzubringer" (B96N) to Stralsund, in the direction of the island of Rügen
• over the Rügen Bridge onto the B96N to Samtens (Rügen)
• in Samtens, take the exit for Hiddensee Island in the direction of Gingst, then to Trent
• in Trent turn right to the Wittow car ferry, cross over and continue in the direction of Wiek
• exit Wiek, turn left after apporx. 2 km and follow the signs to Dranske

(Rostock-Stralsund approx. 75 km; Stralsund-Dranske (Rügen) approx. 56 km).

Alternative route: Rügen car ferry (April - October).

From Berlin...

• along the A20 motorway in the direction of Stralsund/Lübeck to the Stralsund/Rügen exit
