From Rostock... 1st variant (shortest route Rostock-Stralsund approx. 75 km)

• along the B105 to Stralsund, Rostocker Chausse straight ahead into Tribseer Damm
• past the main railwaystation, then left at the crossroads into Knieperwall, along to the roundabout, straight across
• past the theatre (on the left) and Knieper Tor (on the right)
• turn left into Fährwall, 2nd street (Fährstraße) on the left and immediately left again into Seestraße
• the Hiddensee quay is immediately on the right (small blue building).

Coming from Rostock... 2nd variant (fastest routeRostock-Stralsund approx. 110 km)

• Take the A20 motorway in the direction of Stettin until you reach the Rügen/Stralsund exit
• continue on the "Rügenzubringer" (B96N) until you reach the Stralsund exit – “Altstadt”
• turn left into Greifswalder Chaussee, go straight across the crossroads into Frankendamm, continue to the roundabout
• straight across into Wasserstraße, continue to the 3rd crossroads, turn right into Heilgeiststraße and immediately left again into Seestraße
• continue straight ahead until you see a small blue building on the right, this is the Hiddensee quay

Alternative: Rügenfähre Stahlbrode-Glewitz (April - October)

From Berlin...

• Take the A20 motorway in the direction of Stralsund/Lübeck as far as the Rügen/Stralsund exit
• continue on the "Rügenzubringer" (B96N) as far as the Stralsund-Altstadt exit
• turn left into Greifswalder Chaussee, go straight across the crossroads into Frankendamm, along as far as the roundabout
• straight across into Wasserstraße, along as far as the third crossroads
• turn right into Heilgeiststraße and immediately left into Seestraße, straight on until you see a small blue building on the right, this is the Hiddensee quay (Berlin-Stralsund approx. 270 km).

Alternative: Rügen ferry Stahlbrode-Glewitz (April - October)

The multi-storey car park "Am Hafen" at the Fährwall is located directly at the port.

Parking is also available in the multi-storey car parks "Am Ozeaneum", “Am Langenkanal” and "Am Meeresmuseum" , Mönchstraße.

The car park on the harbour island behind the warehouses on Hansakai has parking spaces for buses (day ticket approx. € 3.00).

From Stralsund main station...
daily: bus lines 1 or 6 from “Hauptbahnhof” (main station) to “Hafen” (port) Tickets: one way 2,10€ / 1,50€ (child 6-14 years).

On foot: Along Tribseer Damm in the direction of the city centre, straight ahead into Tribseer Straße across Neuer Markt, left into Mönchstraße and immediately right again, following Apollonienmarkt and Ossenreyerstraße in the direction of the town hall and Alter Markt walk diagonally across Alter Markt into Fährstraße until you reach the Hiddensee quay, past the administration building of the Weiße Flotte (approx. 25 minutes' walk)

There is no luggage storage available at our point of sales in Stralsund.
The Stralsund Tourist Information Centre (Alter Markt 9) offers 4 large luggage boxes for storage, 4 hours cost € 1.00 and for each additional hour you pay € 1.50. Please note that luggage must be collected by 17:00 at the latest!
